FairTSA is committed to providing a comprehensive framework for Fair Trade certifications. We analyze developments in the world of Fair Trade and in international labor relations. We take into account new developments affecting our stakeholders. We have a standard revision cycle of approximately 5 years, but individual updates can be made in between.

Complaints:​

If you have complaints about practices of a FairTSA certified operation, let us know. Include supporting documentation or photos if possible. Staff will review the matter and if it is substantiated, move it to the Board of Directors. We will investigate the matter and, depending on the situation, may schedule a hearing with the concerned parties such as smallholder, worker representatives, a representative from the operation in question, and a certifier representative, as applicable. Hearings are facilitated by FairTSA staff and the results will be presented to the FairTSA BoD, which makes the final decision. The decision will be communicated to all parties involved, including the original claimant.
